Stars came out in full force to show their support for senatorial candidate Bam Aquino during his campaign motorcade across Metro Manila on Sunday, May 4.
Prominent celebrities Iza Calzado, Piolo Pascual, and Bea Binene joined Aquino’s convoy, striking a “number five” hand gesture—representing Aquino’s ballot number—as they rode atop the campaign vehicles. Photos from the event were shared on Aquino’s official Facebook page.
“Mas pinalakas na pwersa kasama sina ‘Papa P’ Piolo Pascual, Iza Calzado at Bea Binene,” Aquino wrote, noting the growing support from both veteran and rising stars.
Also spotted during the motorcade were younger personalities such as Kerwin King, Zion Aguirre, Gabe Pineda, Niño San Jose, Andrea Guevarra, Andrei Hermida, and Damien Villaflor.
Binene, who has been vocal about her support, previously joined Aquino’s house-to-house campaign alongside Pinoy Big Brother winner Beatriz Saw in April.
Bam Aquino served as a senator from 2013 to 2019 and made an unsuccessful reelection bid in 2019 under the Otso Diretso slate. He also played a key role in the 2022 presidential campaign of former vice president Leni Robredo.
