Jackie Forster has broken her silence regarding the breakup of her son, Kobe Paras, and actress Kyline Alcantara, strongly defending Kobe against cheating rumors.
In a nearly 15-minute video posted on social media, Jackie confirmed the split and said their family had initially chosen to stay quiet. However, due to growing accusations against Kobe, she decided it was time to speak out.
Jackie explained that Kobe and Kyline’s relationship started to deteriorate in January following their trip to the United States. While Kobe initially tried to mend things, Jackie revealed that he ultimately chose to leave the relationship when certain actions became “unforgivable.”
Despite the breakup, Jackie shared that their family continued to communicate with Kyline to console and support her.
“We are Kobe’s family, but out of respect, we stayed by her side, listening and showing understanding,” she said.
Jackie also clarified that Kyline remained in contact with them until just before Easter, trying to convince Kobe to apologize and reconcile.
However, Jackie accused Kyline’s camp of fueling negative narratives online, painting Kobe in a bad light. She questioned why Kyline and her team would allow people to believe Kobe was unfaithful when he was simply moving forward with his life.
Jackie further addressed issues about Kobe using Kyline’s car, explaining that Kyline lent it to him while his own vehicle was under repair.
In closing, Jackie expressed regret for not heeding earlier warnings about Kyline, saying, “I defended you, Kyline. I regret not listening to those warnings.”
Kobe and Kyline, who confirmed their relationship in November 2024, unfollowed each other on Instagram earlier this April. They had spent Christmas together and had already introduced each other to their families before the breakup.
