Jennie, a member of the globally acclaimed K-pop group Blackpink, has confidently declared 2024 as “her year.” Celebrating New Year’s Eve, Jennie took to Instagram to post a series of captivating photos, including images of her holding a “Happy New Year” cake, posing in a snow park, next to a giant Christmas tree, and with her pet dog Kuma. Significantly, she donned a black cap with the phrase “2024 is gonna be my year” emblazoned on it.

In a bold move signaling her growing artistic independence, Jennie recently launched her own label, Odd Atelier, dedicated to her solo artist promotions. This step follows the announcement from Blackpink’s agency, YG Entertainment, that while the members did not renew their individual contracts, they will continue their group activities under the agency. Jennie’s initiative marks her as the first Blackpink member to establish a solo label following the renewal of their group contract with YG Entertainment.

Jennie’s journey with Blackpink began in 2016 when the group debuted with hits like “Boombayah” and “Whistle.” Her solo career took off in 2019 with the release of “SOLO,” and she continued to make waves in the music scene with her latest solo single “You and Me” released in October.
