Jesi Corcuera, a trans man and StarStruck alumnus, shared his emotional and physical journey to parenthood during an interview on Unang Hirit. He opened up about the challenges he faced as he embraced the pregnancy journey.
Reflecting on the experience, Jesi described it as a demanding process. “It’s no joke,” he remarked, emphasizing the toll it took on him financially, emotionally, and mentally.
Jesi also explained that he had to pause his hormone therapy to increase his estrogen levels, a change that brought significant emotional shifts. He expressed admiration for his partner, Camille, who has been a steadfast source of support.
After deciding to pursue pregnancy through artificial insemination, Jesi revealed it took three years and four attempts before successfully conceiving. He and Camille are now excitedly expecting a baby girl, affectionately nicknamed “ninja.”
