Karylle has spoken out about the recent misunderstanding involving Janella Salvador and the hosts of “It’s Showtime,” Kim Chiu and Vice Ganda, clarifying that there are no hard feelings following a viral moment on the show. During an interview on Magic 89.9’s Good Times, Karylle provided context to Salvador’s response to a singing request, explaining that Salvador was conserving her voice for an upcoming concert and a movie promotion.

The incident unfolded when Salvador, appearing on “It’s Showtime,” was playfully asked to sing a snippet from her new album but declined, citing a hoarse voice. This moment led to speculation and online chatter, with some interpreting Salvador’s remarks as dismissive. However, Karylle emphasized that Salvador’s comment was a light-hearted gesture acknowledging the singing abilities of Chiu and Anne Curtis, also hosts of the show.

Vice Ganda’s subsequent on-air comment, which appeared to throw shade at Salvador, was attributed to a misunderstanding, as Vice Ganda had not witnessed the initial exchange. Karylle assured that the incident was a minor miscommunication and not indicative of any deeper rift.

Janella Salvador herself addressed the situation, cautioning against negative speculation and expressing gratitude towards her supporters. Karylle’s intervention aims to dispel any rumors of discord, highlighting the mutual respect among the personalities involved.
