Singer Klarisse de Guzman received an outpouring of love and support after publicly coming out as bisexual on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.
Her girlfriend, Christrina Rey, took to X (formerly Twitter) to show how proud she is of Klarisse’s courage. “I’m always here, always! I’ll wait for you here sa outside world. Love wins,” she wrote, along with a white heart and rainbow emoji.
In another post, Trina added: “Baliko man o tuwid, ‘yan ang mundo at walang mali sa ‘yo.” She also sent well wishes to those who were previously bothered by Klarisse’s identity, saying, “Sana po himbing sleep n’yo last night.”
Klarisse made her revelation during a heartfelt task led by guest Michelle Dee, who asked housemates to share misconceptions about themselves. “I think this is the right time to say it—to tell the world that I’m not straight,” Klarisse bravely shared.
She also revealed her relationship of four years with Trina, and credited Michelle Dee’s presence in the PBB house as a catalyst for finally opening up. Michelle, who came out as bisexual in 2023, said she deeply related to Klarisse’s journey and praised her bravery.
“I’m so proud to be a source of strength for someone coming out with something so big,” Michelle said. “I know the fear. I’ve been through it too, especially in our industry.”
