Kris Aquino, known as the “Queen of All Media,” has deferred her hospital admission in Los Angeles due to COVID-19 concerns, as disclosed by Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste. Aquino, who is undergoing a new medical treatment, decided to postpone her confinement at UCLA hospital following COVID-19 alerts in the facility.
Leviste, speaking at the Barako Fest 2024, emphasized his readiness to prioritize Aquino’s needs, planning to return to the U.S. after Holy Week. He mentioned the collaborative effort between Aquino’s sisters, friends, and himself to ensure she is well-supported, particularly praising her son Bimb for his exceptional care and responsibility.
Aquino’s health condition remains critical, yet Leviste expressed optimism, highlighting the significant impact of prayers and support on her well-being. In February, Aquino revealed in an interview that she would start a new medication, crucial for her health but potentially weakening her immune system.
Leviste also touched upon the Barako Fest, emphasizing its role in promoting Batangas’ tourism and local products, such as the renowned barako coffee beans, illustrating the community’s ongoing life and activities amidst personal challenges faced by public figures like Aquino.
