Kris Aquino made her first public appearance in the Philippines since being diagnosed with autoimmune diseases, attending the People of The Year 2025 awards night by PeopleAsia on Tuesday. The event coincided with the EDSA People Power anniversary, which she described as a “perfect” moment for her return.
Dressed in a yellow top, floral skirt, pink blazer, and a yellow face mask, the Queen of All Media was there to support fashion designer Michael Leyva, whom she praised for his unwavering support.
Aquino, who revealed earlier this month that she now has seven autoimmune diseases, returned to the Philippines in September 2024 after undergoing treatment abroad.
Other honorees at the event included Marian Rivera.
