Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano officially kicked off her re-election bid on Friday night, marking the start of the 45-day campaign period for local candidates.
Around 10,000 Taguigeños gathered at the proclamation rally organized by Team Lani Cayetano (TLC), showing strong support for the incumbent mayor.
“I stand before you carrying the solid, deep, and concrete accomplishments of this party. This group worked hard and showed genuine concern. Who else can continue this kind of service but Team TLC?” Cayetano told the crowd.
The rally was also attended by her husband, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, and her sister-in-law, Senator Pia Cayetano—both prominent political figures backing her campaign.
