Lapu-Lapu City will start vaccinating their 5-year old to 11-year old children this Valentine’s Day, February 14, as parents and guardians are advised to bring them to Lapu-Lapu City Central School.
Before getting vaccinated, parents should first register their children to vims.com.ph and select the 5-11 years old category in the registration.
As of noon Friday, February 11, there are already 4,311 children aged 5-11 years old who already got registered.
Once registered, they can proceed to the vaccination site on Valentine’s Day.
Accompanying parent or guardian must bring their valid IDs, both of the children and escort.
It is also important that the accompanying parent must bring proof of one’s relationships with the child.
Vaccination of 12-year old to 17-year old continues in the following vaccination centers: Lapu-Lapu Sports Complex at City hall; Liberty Shrine in Barangay Mactan; Pajo Gym beside Pajo barangay hall; Marigondon National High School; Mactan Newtown; and Lapu-Lapu City Central School.
As of noon February 11, Friday there are already 38,751 teens 12-17-year-olds who are already registered.-(April Therese Tan)
