Leila Alcasid, daughter of singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid, has announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend, indie singer-rapper Curtismith (Mito Fabie). The couple shared the happy news on Sunday, Sept. 29, in a joint Instagram post, which appeared to coincide with their anniversary.
Leila showed off her pear-shaped diamond engagement ring, calling it “the most special anniversary gift.” Her father, Ogie Alcasid, expressed his joy for the couple, commenting that he is “beyond happy” for them.
The engagement drew warm congratulations from fellow celebrities like Nadine Lustre, Gabbi Garcia, Iza Calzado, and Darren Espanto. Leila and Curtismith have been dating since 2019 and have been living together, a move that initially caused some hesitation from her father.
Leila is Ogie’s daughter with Australian beauty queen-actress Michelle van Eimeren.
