The Bongbong-Sara tandem gains more support in Cebu as political parties have expressed their preference as to their candidates for president and vice president in the upcoming May 2022 elections.
The Barug PDP-Laban led by Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama endorses the tandem in a press conference held today, January 26, 2022.
“So, that ends this particular saga in what we call the waiting time,” said Rama as he endorsed the said tandem.
Also, the Barug Alang sa Kauswagan ug Demokrasya (BAKUD), which is the dominant political party in the Fifth District of the Province of Cebu expressed their support for the said team.
BAKUD Chairman Emeritus and Danao City Mayor Ramon Nito Durano III in a press conference said yesterday, January 25, 2022 that the party shall lead in ushering a new kind of leadership, calling everyone to move forward and work together to make A Better Cebu.
BAKUD foresees that BBM shall be a healing president who will unite the country and help it recover from the pandemic.
BAKUD also commits its full force to work all-out for the victory of the said team.-(April Therese Tan)
