The ceremony took place at Quirino Grandstand, with PCSO General Manager Mel Robles and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno in attendance.
Marcos emphasized the administration’s commitment to continue this initiative until all LGUs have received the necessary PTVs. “We will not stop until every LGU gets the support they need,” he said.
According to PCSO, a total of 387 PTVs will be allocated to Luzon, broken down as follows:
- Region I: 30
- Region II: 72
- Region III: 99
- Region IV-A: 27
- Region IV-B: 60
- Region V: 64
- CAR: 35
The President also announced that 123 vehicles are designated for Eastern Visayas and 105 for Mindanao.
To sustain the program, PCSO has earmarked ₱1 billion for 2025 to purchase an additional 395 PTVs for LGUs and national agencies, with distribution expected to begin in 2026.
Since the initiative started in July 2022, a total of 680 PTVs have been distributed nationwide.
