President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. honored First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos during the Philippine Coast Guard’s (PCG) anniversary celebration, highlighting her dedication to preserving the marine environment. The First Lady recently joined the PCG Auxiliary with the honorary rank of Vice Admiral.

During the ceremony, held at Port Area, Manila, Marcos expressed pride in his wife’s commitment to environmental conservation. “This is not surprising because of her commitment to preserving our marine environment,” Marcos said, commending her decision to support the PCG Auxiliary’s mission.

The PCG Auxiliary plays a crucial role in promoting safety at sea and protecting marine ecosystems. Marcos encouraged others to follow the First Lady’s example by joining the organization and contributing to maritime preservation efforts.
