MANILA – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has warned Filipinos to be extra cautious against fake news, disinformation, and online misinformation as the campaign season heats up for the May 2025 elections.
In a Sunday vlog, Marcos reminded voters to fact-check information, especially political content circulating online.
“Fake news and mudslinging are part of election campaigns. It’s everywhere, so we must be careful,” he said.
Marcos, who has been actively endorsing Alyansa Para Sa Bagong Pilipinas, also urged voters to support candidates committed to serving the country.
