Kapuso star Mark Bautista is set to take on the role of Rapunzel’s Prince in the upcoming Philippine staging of Into The Woods!
In a statement, Mark shared his excitement, saying, “I’ve never played the role of a prince before, so this is going to be exciting for me. Falling in love with a princess is quite interesting as well.”
He joins an all-star cast featuring Lea Salonga as The Witch, Nic Chien as Jack, Eugene Domingo as Jack’s Mother, Joreen Bautista as Rapunzel, and Arielle Jacobs as Cinderella. Other notable cast members include Joaquin Valdes as Prince Charming and The Wolf, and Nyoy Volante and Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante as The Baker and The Baker’s Wife.
Directed by Tony Award-winner Clint Ramos, the production will be staged at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati this August.
