DOH Response & Reminders
DOH Secretary Teodoro Herbosa urged parents to ensure their children receive the Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine as part of routine immunization. The agency is intensifying:

- Surveillance and contact tracing
- Public awareness campaigns on vaccine safety and importance
The MR vaccine is free at all government health centers. The DOH targets 95% vaccination coverage to achieve herd immunity and prevent outbreaks.
