Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, in a recent interview with Ogie Diaz, recounted an interesting episode involving her children, Mela and Stela, during a past misunderstanding with her husband, Jason Francisco.
She recalled telling Jason to leave their house during their argument, which he did. Melai then humorously told her children, “Don’t worry, Mela and Stela. I told my kids, we’ll find a dad who’s always around.” However, instead of sympathizing, her children amusingly responded, “What, Jericho again? He’s going to be our dad now? And when you fight again, we’ll have another new dad?” followed by laughter and a high five, as shared by Melai.
Melai clarified that such incidents have actually strengthened their bond, contrary to what some might assume about their relationship.
Melai Cantiveros emerged as the big winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up in 2009, where she also met her now-husband, Jason Francisco. Their relationship started with playful interactions inside the Big Brother house and eventually led to marriage and two children.
