Geneva Sarita Lopez, a candidate for Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga 2024, and her Israeli boyfriend, Yitshak Cohen, have been reported missing since Friday, June 21.
The official Facebook page of the Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga organization issued an urgent notice on Monday, confirming the disappearance of Lopez and Cohen. The organization clarified that there were no official activities scheduled for that Friday, as it was designated as a rest day for the candidates.
“The Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga Organization assures the public of frequent monitoring with police authorities for any updates regarding her whereabouts,” the organization stated. “We enjoin the public to assist us in any information that might lead to the resolution of this case.”
The organization has also requested the public’s prayers for the safety of Lopez and her boyfriend.
Lopez is representing Sto. Tomas, Pampanga, in the Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga 2024 pageant.
