The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has confirmed that Mylah Roque, wife of former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, has left the Philippines despite an outstanding arrest order. Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval verified that Mylah departed on September 3, prior to the issuance of an Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) against her on September 16. The ILBO requires immigration officers to alert authorities if she attempts to exit the country, but she had already left by that time.

The QuadComm issued an arrest order for Mylah after she failed to appear for a probe related to Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO). Lawmaker Dan Fernandez noted that Mylah’s departure could be interpreted as an attempt to evade the ongoing investigation. Meanwhile, Harry Roque’s recent activities have not been flagged by the BI, although he faces scrutiny over the rapid increase in his family’s assets, potentially linked to POGO operations. Harry has denied direct involvement in any illicit activities but admitted to providing legal counsel to a company connected to POGO operations.

The QuadComm continues to investigate the Roque couple, with lawmakers stating that they remain committed to pursuing accountability in this case.
