Actress Nadine Lustre swiftly called out a netizen who left a vulgar comment on her Instagram post, saying the person “didn’t pass the vibe check.”
Calling Out Online Harassment
Lustre took to her Instagram Story on March 17 to expose a comment from user @juncarzcruz, who wrote an inappropriate remark on a post featuring Lustre and her boyfriend, Christophe Bariou, at a vegan milk brand event.
Though the comment has since been deleted, Lustre still addressed it, sharing a screenshot with the caption:
“One of the many that did not pass the vibe check.”
Political Post Sparks Attention
While the reason behind the basher’s attack is unclear, Lustre recently made headlines for her reaction to the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
On March 14, she reshared a post featuring a checklist labeled “Collect them all”, which included Duterte, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu—all of whom have faced international legal action.
Lustre’s Recent Work
Beyond social media, Lustre continues to shine in acting. She starred in two 2024 films, “Nokturno” and “Uninvited,” the latter of which was an entry at the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival.
