Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz have embarked on a new chapter in their lives as they move into their new family home.
Mika shared the heartwarming milestone on Instagram on Saturday, reflecting on how the move coincided with a significant event exactly a year ago—their temporary breakup. The Instagram clip featured Mika holding the goodbye flowers from Nash during their brief separation and included a screenshot of a conversation they had in January.
The video also captured moments of the couple settling into their new home with their pet dog and enjoying a tender moment over drinks.
“Hopefully, our marriage reminds you today that anything is possible when you live a life fully surrendered to Jesus. What we thought was the scariest and hardest thing we’ve ever had to do (letting go, surrendering & obeying) turned out to be the best decision we’ve ever made,” Mika expressed in her post.
She continued, “We may think that we know what’s best for us, so we struggle with taking control of our own lives, but truly no one could love us more and prepare a better future for us than our creator himself.”
Nash and Mika tied the knot in May after confirming their relationship in 2018. The two have been longtime friends, and their bond grew stronger over the years.
In a recent “Unang Hirit” report, the couple disclosed that they had broken up in 2023 due to Mika’s health challenges and the deaths of both their fathers, which took a toll on them. However, Nash made a heartfelt move by showing up at Mika’s house in January and proposing to her.
