Napansin ng OCTA Research Group ang isang “significant” na pag-aalangan sa bakuna laban sa sakit na coronavirus (COVID-19) sa Visayas at Mindanao, na kung hindi matugunan, ay maaaring magdulot ng negatibong epekto sa progresong nakamit mula vaccination program ng bansa.

“When we surveyed vaccine coverage and confidence, what we saw was that, based on the data, there’s significant vaccine hesitancy in parts of Visayas and Mindanao regions, especially in the rural areas and especially in socio-economic classes D and E,” Ayon kay Dr. Guido David ng OCTA Research Group

“I think that’s where we need to focus our messaging that vaccines are safe because some of these people believe that vaccines are not safe,” dagdag pa niya.

Bukod sa pagsunod sa minimum public health protocols, binanggit ni David ang kahalagahan ng pagbabakuna upang mapanatili ang pababang trend ng mga kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa. (By: Frances Pio)
