MANILA – In a sweeping crackdown on high-value targets, the Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested 11 most-wanted individuals and confiscated P28 million worth of shabu in separate operations from December 9 to 13, 2025, dealing a significant blow to drug syndicates amid the holiday season’s heightened vigilance. PNP Chief General Rommel Francisco Marbil hailed the haul as proof of the force’s “relentless pursuit,” with seized narcotics totaling over 4 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.

The arrests spanned regions, targeting top fugitives with bounties and long rap sheets for drug trafficking, murder, and robbery. Key highlights include:

  • Pampanga: A “high-value” suspect nabbed with 2 kg shabu (P13.6 million street value).
  • Cavite: Two most-wanted fell in simultaneous raids, yielding 1 kg (P6.8 million).
  • Quezon City: A top drug personality captured with 500 grams (P3.4 million).
  • Other Regions: Operations in Cebu, Davao, and Ilocos netted the remaining suspects and drugs worth P4.2 million.

Marbil emphasized the ops’ precision: “These arrests and seizures disrupt supply chains and protect communities, especially during the holidays when drug pushers exploit festivities.” No injuries were reported, with all suspects now facing charges under RA 9165 (Dangerous Drugs Act).

The PNP’s intensified campaign aligns with the administration’s anti-crime drive, with over P1.5 billion in drugs seized nationwide in 2025. As Christmas nears, Marbil urged public tips: “Your vigilance is our strongest weapon.”

In a season of peace and joy, these busts send a clear message: The long arm of the law reaches even the most wanted, turning holiday hustle into justice hustle.
