Five suspected drug traffickers were arrested in a coordinated operation across the Laguna and Rizal provinces, where law-enforcement agents recovered sealed plastic sachets containing approximately 70 grams of suspected shabu. The estimated street value of the haul is around ₱999,000.

Authorities, acting on surveillance and intelligence, conducted the joint anti-narcotics operation and detained the suspects after intercepting the illicit transaction. Among the evidence seized were several packages of methamphetamine (commonly called “shabu”), marking a substantial bust in the ongoing campaign against illegal drug activity in the region.

The bust was hailed by local police leadership as a demonstration of their commitment to tackling the drug supply chain and protecting communities in the CALABARZON region. Residents are being urged to stay vigilant and assist authorities by reporting suspicious activity.
