President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. shared a Good Friday message encouraging Filipinos to reflect on the values of faith, compassion, and forgiveness.
In a social media post, Marcos said, “On this Good Friday, we remember the sacrifice that taught us the true meaning of faith, compassion and forgiveness. May this day of reflection strengthen our spirit and bring peace to every Filipino home.”
Earlier in the week, the President also called on the public to prioritize peace and the safety of their families during the Lenten season.
First Lady Liza Marcos echoed the sentiment, urging everyone to treat each other with compassion and grace.
