Despite not being chosen as each other’s final duo on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, Ralph De Leon and AZ Martinez remain on good terms, with no hard feelings between them.
Ralph was the first housemate to choose his final duo after completing the task first. While AZ stepped forward during the selection, Ralph chose Will Ashley, explaining he hadn’t yet had the chance to team up with him in the game.
“I’ve already had a great experience working with AZ, and I wanted to explore that same dynamic with Will,” Ralph shared, noting that he had made a prior promise to Will to be his final partner.
Although AZ admitted she felt sad, she still congratulated Ralph and Will warmly with a hug. “I knew who he’d pick, but I stepped forward anyway—because I wouldn’t be true to myself if I didn’t,” she said during her talk with Kuya.
Ralph emphasized that AZ and Will were his top two choices and said he deeply appreciated that both had shown they wanted to be his final partner. He was grateful the timing worked out for him to fulfill his past promise to Will.
“Just because I didn’t choose AZ doesn’t mean our relationship changes. She knows that,” Ralph clarified.
Will echoed the excitement, saying, “Game on na po talaga.”
The final duo formation continues tonight on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, airing on GMA Network weeknights at 10:05 p.m. and weekends at 6:15 p.m.
