Rocco Nacino is living every K-drama fan’s dream at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) as he meets some of South Korea’s top actors, Song Joong Ki and Ji Chang Wook.
The Kapuso actor shared photos of the encounters on Instagram, playfully captioning his photo with Joong Ki, “Hi Big Boss,” and tagging Dingdong Dantes, who portrayed Joong Ki’s character in the Philippine adaptation of Descendants of the Sun.
Nacino is attending BIFF to represent Brillante Mendoza’s film Motherland, which is competing in the festival’s prestigious Jiseok category.
Apart from his international film festival appearance, Rocco is also set to return to the small screen as Aquil in Sang’gre, following his roles in The Missing Husband and Maria Clara at Ibarra.
Rocco is married to volleyball athlete Melissa Gohing, and they welcomed their first child, Ezren Rafaello, in 2022.
