Rosula Calacala, a 62-year-old first-time taker of the 2023 Bar examinations, has become an inspiring figure after passing the challenging test. Calacala, who hails from North Eastern College in Isabela, burst into tears upon seeing her name among the 3,812 passers this year. Her emotional moment was shared with her son, to whom she joyously exclaimed, “Anak ko, attorney na ko! Oh my god,” signifying her disbelief and elation at her achievement despite her age.
