House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos strongly denied the serious allegations made by his aunt, Senator Imee Marcos, who claimed that President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Marcos, and even Sandro himself were involved in illegal drug use.

In a public statement, Sandro said the accusations are “not only false, but dangerously irresponsible.” He expressed deep disappointment over what he described as a “web of lies” from his aunt, aimed at destabilizing the government to further her own political ambitions.

He also called on the public to rally around the truth and reject narratives that he believes are intended to sow discord: “Now is the time to unite behind truth, not to amplify narratives meant to topple the government.”

Sandro added that the allegations cut deep at a personal level — he said it pains him to see the family divided. He closed his statement with a pointed line: “Hindi ito asal ng isang tunay na kapatid” (“This is not the conduct of a true sibling”).

Imee has since challenged Sandro to submit to a hair follicle drug test and said she would take a DNA test, implying a deeper rift over their family ties.
