Saudi Arabia will soon be the home of the world’s first theme park dedicated to the iconic “Dragon Ball” franchise, as announced by the franchise’s owner. Set to be part of the expansive Qiddiya Investment Company’s initiative near Riyadh, the park will span 500,000 square meters, offering visitors immersive experiences in seven different zones inspired by the “Dragon Ball” series, complete with themed rides, hotels, and dining establishments.

This development is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to diversify its economy beyond oil, by integrating entertainment mega-projects like Qiddiya, which aims to surpass the size of Disney World in Florida. The announcement comes as fans globally mourn the recent passing of “Dragon Ball’s” revered creator, Akira Toriyama, remembering his legacy through this monumental venture.
