SB19 and BINI, two powerhouse P-Pop groups, recently united in Seoul, South Korea, for the Billboard K Power 100 event held on Thursday. The groups, both selected by Billboard Philippines to perform, posed for a photo together during soundcheck, capturing a memorable moment for fans.

The Billboard K Power 100 event, which marked the launch of Billboard Korea, celebrated the global influence of Korean music. It took place on August 27 at the Yeong Bin Gwan Hall in The Shilla Seoul. SB19 ignited the stage with a dynamic performance of their hit song “Gento,” while BINI got the audience moving with their popular track, “Cherry on Top.”

Both groups received the “Voices of Asia” award at the event, recognizing their groundbreaking contributions to Filipino music and their efforts to elevate P-pop on the global stage.

In a recent interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” SB19 expressed pride in BINI’s achievements, with member Josh highlighting the growing recognition of P-Pop internationally. “We’re thrilled that P-Pop and groups like these are finally being considered seriously, as they truly deserve it,” he said.

SB19 continues to build its global presence, having recently won the Billboard Fan Army Face-Off 2024 and previously being the first Filipino artists featured on the cover of Billboard Philippines in 2023. They were also the first Filipinos nominated for Top Social Artist at the Billboard Music Awards in 2021.

BINI, fresh off their performance at KCON LA earlier this month, is gearing up for their two-night Grand BINIverse concert at the Araneta Coliseum on November 16 and 17.
