Lee Joon Gi, a renowned South Korean actor, recently delighted fans with a series of photos from a mini-reunion with fellow cast members of the hit 2016 Korean drama “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.” The photos, shared on his Instagram, featured the uncut script book with an alternate ending showcasing a modern-day 4th Prince Wang So, portrayed by Lee Joon Gi in the series.
The reunion included Girls’ Generation member Seohyun and actors Hong Jong Hyun and Z. Hera. Although IU, who played the lead role of Hae Soo, couldn’t attend, she was called during the reunion, emphasizing the strong bond shared by the cast members.
“Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” aired for 20 episodes from August 29 to November 1, 2016, is remembered for its unique storyline where a 21st-century woman is transported back to the Goryeo Dynasty. The drama, which also aired on GMA Network in 2017, featured a star-studded cast including EXO’s Baekhyun, and Korean actors Nam Joo Hyuk and Jisoo.
