MANILA, Philippines — The stage is set for a historic showdown in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) as the dominant Creamline Cool Smashers prepare to defend their throne against a surging Cignal HD Spikers in the 2026 All-Filipino Conference Finals.

Following a grueling semifinal round that saw both teams emerge as the class of the field, the league has officially released the schedule for the best-of-three championship series, which is expected to pack the Smart Araneta Coliseum to the rafters.

Creamline returns to the grandest stage for the 12th time in franchise history, seeking to add yet another trophy to their legendary “Grand Slam” pursuit. The Cool Smashers showcased their trademark composure in the semis, led by the “Coolest Captain” Alyssa Valdez and the relentless scoring of Jema Galanza and Tots Carlos.

On the other side of the net, the Cignal HD Spikers have finally broken through to the Finals after several podium finishes in previous conferences. Powered by the veteran smarts of setter Gel Cayuna and the explosive offense of Ces Molina and Vannie Gandler, the HD Spikers are looking to play the role of underdog spoiler and claim their first-ever PVL All-Filipino crown.

Mark your calendars for the final battle of the conference:

  • Game 1: Tuesday, April 21 – 6:30 PM at the Smart Araneta Coliseum
  • Game 2: Thursday, April 23 – 6:30 PM at the Smart Araneta Coliseum
  • Game 3 (if necessary): Saturday, April 25 – 6:30 PM at the Mall of Asia Arena

Preceding the main event, the Petro Gazz Angels and the Choco Mucho Flying Titans will battle in a best-of-three series for the third-place trophy. Fans are particularly eager to see if the Flying Titans can bounce back after a heartbreaking five-set loss in the semifinals.

Tickets for the Finals are expected to sell out within minutes of release. PVL President Ricky Palou noted that the 2026 season has seen record-breaking attendance numbers, and the rivalry between the league’s most popular team (Creamline) and the rising powerhouse (Cignal) is anticipated to reach a fever pitch.
