Shaira Moro, the “Selos” singer, has called on her fans to cease the negative remarks directed at Australian singer Lenka, amid the copyright controversy involving her song. Moro clarified that Lenka’s representatives handled the copyright issue professionally and respectfully.

The controversy ignited when Moro’s song “Selos,” which incorporated the melody from Lenka’s 2008 hit “Trouble Is a Friend,” was removed from streaming platforms following legal actions by Lenka. This led to a backlash from Moro’s supporters against the Australian artist.

Moro took to her Facebook page to address the situation, expressing her appreciation for her fans’ support but urging them to refrain from bashing Lenka. She emphasized the importance of respecting copyright laws and maintaining a peace-loving demeanor, advocating for a community that prioritizes good vibes and respectful discourse.

AHS Productions, representing Moro, announced plans to obtain the necessary cover license for “Selos,” indicating a move towards resolving the copyright issue amicably.
