On her Instagram account, the Megastar shared her current health challenges, including a persistent cough and the need for an MRI scan to assess previous knee and lower back injuries, as well as her ongoing battle with scoliosis.
Sharon’s health issues came to light during a recent lung X-ray, which also revealed her condition of scoliosis. She expressed her worries about a pinched nerve that seems to have shifted to the right side of her body, potentially indicating new injuries. These concerns have been exacerbated by a recent trip to Seoul for her birthday, after which she’s been experiencing worsening limping.
Currently focusing on rest and recovery, Sharon extended her gratitude to her fans for their continuous flow of supportive messages. With an MRI scan already conducted at St. Luke’s Hospital, where she humorously used the alias “Julia Roberts,” the Megastar remains hopeful yet apprehensive about the results. “I pray that the MRI results won’t be too scary. And that this virus I caught, whatever it is, goes away. I miss and love you all,” she shared with her followers.
Despite these health setbacks, Sharon has maintained an active presence in the entertainment industry. She recently starred alongside Alden Richards in the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival movie “Family of Two” and delighted fans with reunion concerts with her former on- and off-screen partner, Gabby Concepcion, under the banner “Dear Heart.” Furthermore, she has hinted at potential projects in the United States and an upcoming concert tour, indicating her unwavering commitment to her career and her fans.
