Pascal Siakam delivered a stellar 31-point performance and was named Eastern Conference Finals MVP as the Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 125–108 in Game 6, securing their first NBA Finals appearance in 25 years.
Tyrese Haliburton added 21 points, 13 assists, and 3 steals in a dominant showing for Indiana, who now moves on to face the Western Conference champion Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals, starting Thursday in OKC.
The Pacers overwhelmed the Knicks with fastbreak dominance (25–10 in Game 6, 106–48 overall in the series) and sharp shooting, hitting 54.1% from the field and 51.5% from deep. Obi Toppin, Andrew Nembhard, and Myles Turner provided strong support, while Indiana’s bench kept the pressure on throughout.
Despite efforts from OG Anunoby (24 points), Karl-Anthony Towns (22 points, 14 rebounds), and Jalen Brunson (19 points), New York couldn’t close the gap. The Pacers pulled away in the third and sealed the win with a commanding fourth-quarter push.
This marks a major milestone for Indiana, who last reached the Finals in 2000.
