Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila has announced its closure, marking the end of an era for the luxury resort that has been a staple in Manila for 48 years. The hotel will cease operations on July 1, 2024.

In a heartfelt statement posted on its Facebook page, Sofitel Manila expressed gratitude to its patrons: “Where moments were made magnifique. Where memories last. Your smiles and stories have left an indelible mark on our hearts. We hope these memories stay with you as fondly as they will with us. Sofitel Manila bids you adieu. Merci beaucoup, and à bientôt in new adventures!”

Spiral Manila’s Final Goodbye

On Saturday, the hotel’s renowned buffet restaurant, Spiral, also bid farewell to its loyal customers. Spiral announced, “It is set to embark on its final culinary journey tomorrow, June 30, 2024.”
