The ’24 Oras Weekend’ news team, comprising Ivan Mayrina, Pia Arcangel, Nelson Canlas, and Mariz Umali, clinched the grand prize of P200,000 in the popular game show ‘Family Feud.’ Their victory came after a series of competitive rounds against Team Tutok-ers, which includes fellow journalists Emil Sumangil, Joseph Morong, Ian Cruz, and Sandra Aguinaldo.

The game kicked off with Team ’24 Oras Weekend’ taking an early lead in the first round, answering a tricky question related to the challenges of traffic. Although Team Tutok-ers managed to win the second round, focusing on things that flow, the ’24 Oras Weekend’ team made a significant comeback in the subsequent double-point rounds. They adeptly tackled questions associated with the word “crocodile” and strategies for dealing with white hair.

The climax of the show was the Fast Money Round, where Ivan Mayrina and Mariz Umali teamed up to score a combined 234 points, securing the win for their team. Their victory not only brought them the cash prize but also contributed an additional P20,000 to their chosen charity, the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

The runners-up, Team Tutok-ers, did not leave empty-handed, taking home P50,000. This episode of ‘Family Feud’ highlighted the competitive spirit and camaraderie among some of the Philippines’ top journalists, all while supporting charitable causes.
