Shai Gilgeous-Alexander powered the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 123-107 victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of the 2025 NBA Finals, evening the series at 1-1.

The Thunder star delivered a stellar performance with 34 points, eight assists, and five rebounds, converting 11-of-12 free throws. After letting Game 1 slip through their fingers, the Thunder responded with defensive grit and offensive efficiency.

Oklahoma City pulled away in the second quarter with a 19-2 run, building a 23-point lead fueled by turnovers and Gilgeous-Alexander’s scoring bursts. Though the Pacers cut the deficit to 13 with a 10-0 rally, they never got closer.

Chet Holmgren, who struggled in the opener, rebounded with 15 points, including a run of five straight makes. Jalen Williams added 19 points and five assists despite shooting struggles, while Alex Caruso and Aaron Wiggins contributed 20 and 18 points off the bench, respectively.

Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton led his team with 17 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter when the game was largely out of reach. The Pacers had previously won Game 1 of each of their playoff series, but now face a tougher challenge as the Finals shift to Indianapolis for Game 3 on Wednesday.
