Tragedy struck in Tagbilaran, Bohol on Wednesday evening as two toddler siblings, aged three and one, perished in a house fire.
Details of the Incident
According to a report by DYSS Super Radyo’s Gabriel Bonjoc, the fire occurred while the two children and their father were asleep. The blaze quickly engulfed their home, which was constructed from light materials, making it highly flammable.
Father’s Condition and Local Response
The father of the victims is in critical condition, having sustained severe wounds while attempting to rescue his children from the fire.
In response to the tragedy, the local government has stepped in to provide assistance, covering the costs of the children’s burial and the father’s medical treatment.
