Actor Tom Rodriguez recently shared that he has become a father, welcoming a baby boy named Korben with his non-showbiz partner of two years. Rodriguez made the announcement at the press conference for his upcoming film, Huwag Mo ‘Kong Iwan, on Tuesday, November 12.
“I’m a new dad to a very happy, healthy baby boy. He’s four months old, and I’ve never experienced happiness at this level,” Rodriguez expressed, describing his son as his current source of inspiration. He added that becoming a father has brought renewed energy, saying, “I feel younger, more vibrant.”
While Rodriguez shared his excitement, he emphasized his desire to keep his personal life separate from his public career. He explained that he hadn’t hidden his family but wanted a “clear boundary” between his private life and the spotlight. “I don’t wanna hide. I don’t want to live a life in hiding, so wherever I go kasama ang pamilya ko (my family is with me), people are gonna see us. Eventually, people will see us around,” he said.
Rodriguez and his partner met after his divorce from actress Carla Abellana, marking a new chapter in his personal life.
