Veteran forward Troy Rosario has officially joined Barangay Ginebra’s roster for the upcoming PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup.
Rosario, 32, signed with the Gin Kings as an unrestricted free agent after his contract with Blackwater expired. He had been with Blackwater since 2022.
His addition bolsters Ginebra’s frontcourt, addressing the void left by injuries to Isaac Go and Jamie Malonzo. Rosario will team up with Scottie Thompson, Japeth Aguilar, Maverick Ahanmisi, Stephen Holt, and star import Justin Brownlee as the squad seeks redemption after falling short in the previous Governors’ Cup title race.
The move also sees Ginebra part ways with Joe Devance, who briefly came out of retirement to assist the injury-hit lineup earlier this year.
