A tragic road accident claimed the lives of three people late Wednesday night along the Batasan-San Mateo Road in Quezon City.
According to a report by GMA Integrated News’ James Agustin, a truck plowed into two motorcycles, a car, and an AUV around 11:30 p.m. as it was heading toward Rizal province.
The 38-year-old truck driver reportedly told authorities that he lost control of the vehicle after experiencing brake failure. He is currently in police custody.
The fatal crash adds to a series of recent road accidents in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
