Brothers Erwin and Bienvenido “Ben” Tulfo, along with Vicente “Tito” Sotto III and Senator Bong Go, have emerged as the top contenders in the latest senatorial survey conducted by OCTA Research.
The Tugon ng Masa third-quarter poll for 2024 revealed that ACT-CIS Partylist representative Erwin Tulfo led with 60% voter preference, closely followed by his brother Ben Tulfo with 57%. Sotto ranked third with 50%, while Go secured 49%, positioning them in the top four.
Other notable figures included Panfilo Lacson and Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, who both received 44%, tying them for fourth to sixth place.
Senator Pia Cayetano garnered 35% voter preference, placing her between seventh and 12th, while Senator Francis “Tol” Tolentino and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao followed with 34%, sharing the seventh to 13th spot. Meanwhile, Senator Imee Marcos, Senator Lito Lapid, and former President Rodrigo Duterte all received 33% and placed within the seventh to 15th range.
The survey was conducted between August 28 and September 2, 2024, using face-to-face interviews with 1,200 respondents. The margin of error is ±3% with a 95% confidence level.
