Two individuals were arrested in Taguig for allegedly delivering illegal drugs worth over ₱3.4 million to multiple clients.

According to a report by Saksi correspondent John Consulta, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) apprehended the suspects during a buy-bust operation, where they were caught delivering shabu to an undercover operative.

Authorities revealed that the seized drugs were intended for distribution during the Christmas season.

“Based on intelligence reports from our operatives, they conduct transactions via messaging apps. Once terms are agreed upon, they exchange money and illegal contraband,” explained PDEG spokesperson Police Lieutenant Dhame Malang.

He further noted that the suspects are considered high-value targets whose drug network operates primarily in Taguig and surrounding cities.

The two individuals, now detained at Camp Bagong Diwa, have yet to provide a statement regarding the accusations.
