The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported the arrest of two individuals suspected of stealing cables from CCTV cameras used for the No-Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP).

As detailed in a Super Radyo dzBB report by Sam Nielseb, the suspects were caught after allegedly returning to the EDSA-Guadalupe overpass in Makati City—possibly to take more cables.

Makati Police Chief Colonel Reycon Garduque confirmed that theft charges have been filed. The suspects also identified the junk shop where the stolen cables were sold, allowing authorities to recover the remaining items.

The recovered cables will serve as evidence in the case.
