
The University of the Philippines (UP) continues to lead Philippine schools in the 2026 QS World University Rankings: Sustainability, maintaining its status as the country’s top university in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact.
UP ranked in the 371 global bracket with a total score of 74.2 in the latest rankings.
Other Philippine universities that improved their standings include:
- Ateneo de Manila University: 455 bracket with 70.6 points
- De La Salle University: 538 bracket with 67.4 points
- University of Santo Tomas (UST): 834 bracket with 57.5 points, rising significantly from its previous spot

- Mapúa University: 1,251–1,300 bracket
