Vocalmyx, a dynamic acapella group from Team Stellbound, emerged as the grand winner of “The Voice Generations” with their captivating rendition of “Into The Unknown” from the 2019 Disney film “Frozen 2.” Coached by SB19’s Stell, Vocalmyx’s victory in the finale of the singing competition brought them not only the title but also a lucrative prize of P1 million and an exclusive recording and management contract with Universal Music Group.
Throughout the competition, Vocalmyx consistently impressed audiences and judges alike, starting from their blind auditions where their performance of “Haypa” secured them a four-chair turn. Their journey to the finale included memorable renditions of songs like “Marupok,” “Queen of the Night,” and “Killing Me Softly.” Vocalmyx’s victory is a testament to their vocal prowess and the power of teamwork in acapella performance.
The competition was fierce, with other talented finalists including P3, coached by Billy Crawford, who delivered a touching version of “Go The Distance” from Hercules; Sorority, guided by Chito Miranda, with their rendition of “This is Me” from The Greatest Showman; and Music and Me, coached by Julie Anne San Jose, performing Bamboo’s “Hallelujah.”
