“Congratulations bubba,” the actress shared on Instagram, expressing her unwavering support and excitement for his future. Her heartfelt post included a polaroid of the two embracing during his proclamation.
“You have the biggest, most genuine heart to serve and always put your people first,” Yassi added in her tribute.
Villafuerte, who secured 104,688 votes in the partial and unofficial tally, won over opponent Fermin Mabulo, who garnered 59,670 votes, according to GMA’s election data.
On election day, Yassi showed off her inked finger, proudly revealing she cast her vote for her “mahal,” praising him as a purpose-driven leader committed to the people.
